Country Carriages are located near Brompton by Sawdon, Scarborough, North Yorkshire and offer a Traditional Horse Drawn Wedding Hire Service.  Our wedding carriage is a dark blue Victoria with light blue detailing and has a large lined leather hood in case of inclement weather, buttoned leather upholstery seating with additional pageboy/bridesmaid seat if required. The carriage has ornate carriage lamps and cream and white silk flowers and can be drawn by a single or pair of our beautiful 16hh coloured horses and decorated with bows in a colour of your choice. The driver and groom will be smartly turned out in black livery outfits. The maximum distance we travel with a pair of horses and carriage is 8 miles (subject to checking the route)  but if your reception is further away and you would like to arrive by horse and carriage we can relocate during the wedding service. If you are having a Country Wedding and want a rustic flavour we can provide our varnished wagonette as an alternate carriage in place of the more formal Victoria carriage.

We carry full Public liability insurance provided by the NFU are members of the British Driving Society and hold the British Driving Society Certificate for Road Driving.
